Thursday dunch before heading out to the Farmers Market! I am a huge fan of our Poblano Chicken Salad with tasty chunks of chicken mixed with lettuce, house croutons and juicy mandarin oranges. Enjoy it with a mimosa and you have the perfect afternoon snack before wandering the Arts District Farmers Market every Thursday!

WHERE: Traction & Third Street, Los Angeles
WHEN: Thursday Nights, 5-9 PM
WHAT: Fresh fruit, vegetables, gourmet treats, prepared foods, organic food, local art & small business incubator.
The Arts District Farmers Market is a great place for the community to hang out, enjoy good food and learn about small businesses around the area. Local markets like this one is important to us at Eat.Drink.Americano because it provides an extension of our community to come together weekly and meet new people.

I was really drawn to the local artisans at the farmers market for their unique stones and hand made work. I've always admired people who can hand make things that are still good quality.
The man working at this necklace booth was kind enough to let me see his stash of stones and make a custom necklace since I wanted something a little shorter than the designs he had out.
I thought the leatherwork was amazing and I loved that everything else is made of copper wiring. Creative and simple accessories.
The rest of the market provided your typical fresh produce, gourmet delights and friendly atmosphere. ~ Good eats and seating, perfect evening hangout! ~
Hopefully I'll see you around at the Arts District Farmers Market!
