FYF kicks off tomorrow with a more impressive line-up than ever featuring headliners Phoenix and The Strokes as well as many local LA acts such as Haim, Earl Sweatshirt, Ty Segal & The Bronx. The line up primarily reflects indie, rock and hip hop genres performing on four different stages.
Phoenix, from Versailles, France, is an alternative rock band that formed in 1999. Their latest album Bankrupt! was released April 2013 and later debuted #4 on Bilboard's top 200 albums chart. Phoenix will make the FYF Fest debut closing the main stage Saturday night in conjunction with singer and songwriter, Ty Segal's set on The Trees stage.
The Strokes is an American rock band that formed in 1998 in New York, NY. Local band, Haim, consisting of three sisters, will be performing on the main stage right before The Strokes closes FYF Fest Sunday night. If you love indie rock Haim and The Strokes will be a great way to end the weekend on the main stage.
Be sure to check out VH1's Sibling Superlatives where they interview Haim and get to know the band!
